Mhow (Madhya Pradesh), a man, angry over a family argument, poisoned to death his two children – Lakshya and Chirag, aged 2 and 4 years. This happened in Manpur of Indore District on Wednesday. A man also consumed poison, and was being treated at a hospital in Indore.
To verify his story, the police will record it. Sunil Mehta (SP, Rural) said Manohar was a plumber in Julvania village.
Few days back, after an argument with him, his wife went to the house of her parents in Dhar. She left Manohar and his parents with her children. Mehta also said that Manohar asked his wife, Nalchha, to come back to the family home on Tuesday.
But she declined. It led to a new round of arguments between the two. Manohar was so angry that he gave the poison to both of his children, before taking it himself. Chirag was killed on Tuesday while Lakshya passed away during treatment on Wednesday.
He added that it had yet to be determined where Manohar injected poison into his two kids. The SP stated that an investigation had begun and that charges would be filed once he received the autopsy report.
